Our hammered copper basin is an incredibly durable cookware made for presentation and specialized cooking. Jam pans, carnitas, polenta, chilling wine and beer, bobbing for apples, bathing babies—your imagination is the limit. Made from a single piece of heavy gauge copper, these copper basins are functional and versatile pieces for various purposes in your home.

A traditional cooking vessel used in cultures throughout the world for centuries, some variation of this basin has been in continuous production in our region since the arrival of the Spanish to Mexico. We began selling these out of the back of our truck over twenty years ago. Those first basins are still in use today! Functional, versatile, durable and popular for the last 500 years!

This item is available through Gather Kitchen Mercantile online only, meaning that we do not physically stock this item in the shop, and it will be drop shipped to you directly from the supplier.

SERTODO COPPER RETURN POLICY:

You may return unused items within 30 days of delivery for a refund, minus the return shipping costs. Allow up to four weeks for refunds to appear in your account from giving your package to the return shipper. This time period includes the transit time for Sertodo to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes Sertodo to process your return once they receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process Sertodo’s refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Return Fees are assessed at 5-25%. The average restocking fee is 5%. However,
Sertodo reserves the right to inspect the condition of the item returned and evaluate
the work needed to put it back into stock.
5%-10%- fingerprints that can be buffed off.
15%- items that have to be washed and polished
20%-25%- items that have been heavily used and are not resellable.
Sertodo requires 5-10 business days to process returns and give refunds.

What if I received an order with damaged items, missing items, or if my package is missing?

Damaged items:

If youve dented or damaged your item through use or dropping it, Sertodo can help fix that! Just send an email,[email protected], and they’ll get you sorted.

If you have received an item damaged in shipping, notify Sertodo immediately at[email protected], so they can process a claim. To resolve this issue and send a replacement ASAP, they will need:

1. Images of the damaged item.
2. Images of the damaged item in the box, similar to how you received it.
3. Image of the top and two sides of the box, and an image of the bottom and two opposite sides of the box.
4. Images of the box label.

Sertodo is unable to assist or make a claim for damaged items without these photos.
